We’ve all been there… it’s 7pm and you’re making a fantastic vegan meal when all of a sudden you hear that familiar theme song and it’s The Archers or some dumb pop song that you’ve already heard a million times… There’s no need to despair because here are some suggestions to help you improve your radio experience:
Catalyst radio – a great collection of independent radio projects that streams 24/7
CKUT – campus community radio station from Montreal in English and French and probably a few other languages. They also stream all the time. They recently did a two hour special about the Sisters in Spirit March & Vigil for Missing and Murdered Native Women. It’s well worth a listen, click here.
Dissident Island Radio – need I say more… they’re amazing!!
last, but not least From Bristol With Love - Southwest radio at it’s best!
Maybe there’s more to the old adage that the revolution begins in the sink!
